Nanjing High Accurate Marine Equipment Co., Ltd Was Awarded Again

According to the rules from the Opinions of Further Promotion and Application of New Technology and New Products by Jiangsu Provincial government, and from the Trial Selection Method of the Excellent New Product of Jiangsu Province, the Jiangsu Economic and Information Technology Commission organized the 2013 annual excellent new product selection activity and issued the results recently, among which the gold prize of Jiangsu Excellent New Products was awarded to Nanjing High Accurate Marine Equipment Co., Ltd.(NGC Marine) for its NRP250 fixed pitch rudder propeller.

Rudder propeller is an important portion of the marine propulsion system. It can provide thrust in 360掳and is easy to operate, which has been widely used in different kinds of vessels and ocean platforms. The NRP250 rudder propeller developed by NGC Marine has build-in hydraulic clutch, with steering and clutch integrated in the propeller for easy installation in shipyard and following up maintenance; high efficient nozzle and CFD optimized blade are designed to achieve an increase of 5% on blade efficiency at the same engine power; modular design has been taken for the rudder propeller to enable interchangeability of parts. Till today, rudder propellers produced by NGC Marine have been widely used in ocean platforms, harbour tugs, crane vessels, cable laying vessels, scientific research vessels and various kinds of military vessels.

As a high & new tech enterprise of Jiangsu province and the industrial product design center of Jiangsu province, NGC Marine has been keeping researching on the propulsion and transmission equipment of different kinds of vessels and ocean platforms, and also keeping continuous cooperation with famous universities and research institutions worldwide. On the basis of research and cooperation and after digesting and innovating, the company declares over 10 patents each year. In the past three years, 6 products were identified as provincial new product. The product performance has reached domestic leading and international advance level. National level, provincial level and municipal level prizes were awarded to products developed by NGC Marine for many times. There are more than ten serial products with proprietary intellectual property for vessels and offshore market like controllable pitch propeller (CPP), marine main and auxiliary gearbox, rudder propeller, tunnel thruster, jack-up gearbox,etc. The company has become the only marine equipment supplier in China that can provide the complete set of various propulsion and transmission equipment except main engine to the domestic as well as global market.

Nanjing High Accurate Marine Company has built up a 256 mu marine product industrial park that is assembled with over 200 sets of modern machining and testing facilities. The company has passed ISO9001 quality management system, ISO14001 environment management system, GB18001-2001 security system, and workshop approval by nine classification society, including ABS, GL etc, as well as military standard quality management system certification. It has the capability of designing and producing hundreds of marine products like rudder propeller, CPP and gearbox per year. It is estimated that the total order in 2013 has increased by 140% year on year, among which the exported order is nearly RMB200 million. The product quality has reached the European level, and has won high recognition of ship owners and partners.

At present, NGC Marine has developed complete serial rudder propeller powered between 500HP and 5000HP, and there were over 100 sets of such product have been used in real vessels. Among those products, the 3000HP rudder propeller that has been used in the 5000 ton crane ship and the 3500HP controllable rudder propeller with ice class and fire fighting functions that is under production have created new records in the large power rudder propeller technology in domestic market. In order to meet the market demand in a further extent, NGC Marine developed new products like the deck combined rudder propeller, retractable rudder propeller and counter-rotating rudder propeller based on the conventional well type rudder propeller. Along with the development of the company, there will be more new types of marine products going to the market, contributing to the structure adjustment of marine industry and industry upgrading and optimization.
